In Their Image comes out one week from today, October 20!!!, and I couldn’t be more excited.
Of course, I’d love for you to listen first and let me know what you think!

The song is written from the perspective of myself as a small child looking up at my parents and wondering if they are gods as they appear to me, wondering if they’ll ever see me or understand me. It’s a tender and innocent song. I really think Alex Tanas and Anwar Sawyer who helped produce the song captured the wonder and curiosity of the song’s intentions, as well as the incredible string arrangements by Jonathan Dreyfus.
The cover artwork is painted by Roxy van Bemmel who worked with photos of me as a small child for inspiration. I’ll be sharing those photos and more on the story of the song on Instagram once the song comes out, so keep an eye out for that cuteness.
Also, the photos I’ve been sharing for the song (like the one at the top of this post!) I shot in Zurich with a magical team. Here are their instagrams so you can stalk the other amazing work they do: photography by Noémi Ottilia Szabo, styling by Petra Haller, styling assistance by Annemarijn Bulsink, hair & makeup by Linda Belkahla, hair assistance by Katun T, production assistance by Kata Haratym, custom nails by Shafak 💖
